Who qualifies
SCE customers meeting income limits (June 1, 2026-May 31, 2027: CARE up to $43,280 for 1-2 people; FERA $43,281-$54,100 for 1-2 people), or anyone in a household on CalFresh/SNAP, Medi-Cal, SSI or other listed programs (for CARE).

What it is
CARE takes 32.5% off qualifying households' electric bills; FERA takes 18% off for slightly higher-income households. Enrolled customers also get a reduced base services charge. No documents are needed to apply.
