Knect is where the culture gets connected. These rules keep it a place people want to pull up to.

Respect people
In short: Disagree all you want. Do not attack, threaten or degrade anyone.
NO HARASSMENT OR BULLYING
No threats, intimidation, repeated unwanted contact, pile-ons, degrading sexual comments, or encouraging others to do any of these.
NO HATE
No attacks, slurs, dehumanizing language or exclusion based on race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, serious illness, or immigration or veteran status. Talking about racism, reclaiming language for yourself, and documenting hate to condemn it are allowed; context matters.
NO DOXXING
Do not share anyone's private information (home address, phone, private email, financial or government IDs, health information) or private images without their permission.
NO IMPERSONATION
Do not pretend to be a person, business, creator, official or Knect. Parody and fan accounts must say so clearly.
Keep people safe
MINORS
Knect is for adults. Anything that sexualizes, exploits or endangers a minor is banned and reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and law enforcement. No exceptions.
SEXUAL CONTENT
No pornography or sexually explicit content, no sexual solicitation, and never intimate images shared without the consent of everyone in them. Artistic nudity in a labeled, age-appropriate context may be allowed at Knect's discretion.
VIOLENCE
No threats or incitement of violence, glorification of violent attacks or their perpetrators, or support for terrorist or violent extremist groups. News, documentary and art about violence may be allowed with context and warnings.
SELF-HARM
No content that encourages suicide, self-harm or eating disorders. If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline).
DANGEROUS ACTS AND GOODS
No instructions for weapons, explosives or serious harm, no dangerous challenges, and no sale of weapons, drugs, or other regulated or illegal goods.
Be honest
NO SPAM OR FAKE ENGAGEMENT
No repetitive, automated or bulk posting or messaging; no fake accounts; and no buying, selling or trading of follows, likes, views, plays, reviews or tickets.
NO SCAMS
No fraud, phishing, pyramid schemes, fake giveaways, or listings for things you do not have.
NO HARMFUL MISINFORMATION
No false claims about how, when or where to vote, about public safety emergencies, or about health that could cause real harm.
DISCLOSE PAID PARTNERSHIPS
If you were paid or given something to post about it, say so, using Knect's paid partnership label where offered.
REAL REVIEWS ONLY
Review only what you actually experienced. No reviewing yourself, your employer or your competitors, and no paying for reviews.
Respect rights
Post only what you made or have permission to use, including music, film clips, photos, art and other people's likenesses. If someone posted your work without permission, use our copyright process. Accounts that repeatedly infringe are closed.
Selling, hosting and advertising
ACCURATE LISTINGS
Menus, prices, allergens, photos, event details and policies must be true and current.
HONOR WHAT YOU SELL
Deliver what you sold, at the price shown, and refund when you cannot.
FAIR TREATMENT
Do not refuse or limit service to anyone because of a characteristic protected by law.
ADS
Ads follow the Advertiser Terms and are reviewed before they run.
Live, chat and groups
These rules apply in real time. Hosts and group admins can remove people and messages in their rooms and groups, and must enforce these rules there. Do not record or rebroadcast someone else's live stream or private room without permission. Do not bring a crowd into someone else's room to disrupt it.
Report, block, appeal
REPORT
Use the report option on any post, comment, message, profile, group, event, business or live stream, or email hello@getknect.app. We review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours.
BLOCK AND MUTE
Block anyone so they cannot reach you or see your profile; mute anyone you do not want to hear from.
WHAT WE DO
Depending on how serious it is: remove the content, limit its reach, add a warning, restrict features, remove monetization or hold payouts, suspend, or permanently ban the account and any accounts made to get around it. We may report illegal content to law enforcement.
APPEAL
If we took action on your content or account and you think we got it wrong, reply to our notice or email us, and a person will look again.
In an emergency, call 911. Knect is not an emergency service.
