Project Angel Food (free meals for seriously ill people)

Who qualifies
LA County residents with a life-threatening illness (for example cancer, HIV/AIDS, heart or kidney disease) who can't independently get healthy food. A health care provider must fill out the medical form.
How to apply
Download the application (English or Spanish; other languages on request) and have your health care provider complete the medical form. Submit it, then allow up to a month for review. Eligible applicants get an intake interview. Call Client Services at 323-845-1810 or 800-761-8889, or email clientservices@angelfood.org.

Free medically tailored meals delivered once a week to people in LA County who have a life-threatening illness and can't get healthy food on their own. A registered dietitian sets up a diet plan.
