LAFLA Record Clearing and Expungement Clinics

Who qualifies
Eligible low-income LA County residents with a criminal record. You must be pre-screened and pre-registered for clinics.
How to apply
Call 800-399-4529 or apply online to get screened. Clinics: Watts Legal Intake Clinic, Southeast LA WorkSource Center (WLCAC), 10950 S. Central Ave., 3rd Tuesday 9 AM to 12:30 PM. LATTC WorkSource Center, 400 W. Washington Blvd., C2-106, 1st Tuesday 9 AM to 1 PM (walk-ins welcome). Whittier, 7639 Painter Ave., 2nd Monday 9 AM to 1 PM (appointment only, call 562-261-5611). Virtual clinic, 2nd Tuesday 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
What it is
LAFLA helps clear criminal records for free through full expungement and Prop 47 petitions. It also helps when an employer breaks Ban the Box / Fair Chance hiring rules. It runs monthly in-person intake clinics in Watts, at LATTC, and in Whittier, plus a virtual expungement clinic.
