Who qualifies
Residents of Riverside and San Bernardino counties with limited incomes, disabilities, or age 60+. ICLS screens you to see if you qualify.
How to apply
Apply online (bit.ly/ICLSApply or the housing form at survey.legal/KcMY9bwSb8T6), or call the Intake/Housing Hotline at (888) 245-4257 (seniors: (800) 977-4257), Mon-Fri 8:30 AM-5:00 PM. If you have an eviction deadline, call right away. Unlawful detainer clinics: Riverside office Tuesdays 8 AM-12 PM, Corona Courthouse Fridays 8 AM-12 PM. On your eviction trial date, arrive early to reach the Tenant/Landlord Assistance Program at the court.
What it is
ICLS gives free legal help to people with limited incomes, people with disabilities and adults 60 and older. Its housing team fights evictions, foreclosures and unfair terminations from programs like Section 8, and gives advice on tenant rights. It also runs eviction (unlawful detainer) clinics and has attorneys at some courthouses on eviction trial days.
