How to apply
Call the Immigrant Assistance Referral Line at 213-201-3797. For family petitions and U-Visa or VAWA consultations, call Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 AM to 5 PM. For DACA renewal virtual clinics, use the sign-up link on CHIRLA's Facebook or Instagram (opens weekdays at 9 AM, first come, first served). For workers' rights, call 213-201-8773.
What it is
CHIRLA helps with deportation defense (including for people in detention), family petitions, U-Visas and VAWA, naturalization, and DACA. It also offers workers' rights legal help and on-campus immigration help for college students.
