Dorian Moseley

Dorian Moseley shoots black-and-white film on a secondhand Leica and prints it himself in a darkroom he built in his mother's laundry room. Corner Store Saints is a six-year series of portraits made within a mile of where he grew up in Compton: deacons, twins at the bus stop, the riders from Richland Farms, the men at the dominoes table. He asks every person before he lifts the camera, and gives every sitter a print.
