Who qualifies
Age 18 or older, and a U.S. citizen or non-citizen authorized to work in the U.S. You must attend an orientation. The reentry programs (Project Impact, Cal CRG) are for people arrested or convicted in the last 12 months. Project Impact also requires being on parole or probation.
How to apply
Go to the adult orientation, held every Tuesday at 9am at 10950 S. Central Ave. Bring a Social Security card and photo ID. Reentry applicants can enroll through the online form linked on WLCAC's Employment page.
What it is
WLCAC runs the City of LA's Southeast LA WorkSource Center and AJCC on South Central Avenue in Watts. Adults can get vocational training, help finding a job and job placement. WLCAC also runs reentry employment programs for people recently arrested or convicted.

About the organisation
WLCAC is a Watts community organization founded in the 1960s by Ted Watkins. Its founder pushed to lower the federal working age so Watts youth could earn summer wages after the 1965 uprising.
