HOPICS (Homeless Outreach Program Integrated Care System)
Who qualifies
People who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Service Planning Area 6: South Los Angeles, Compton, Lynwood and Paramount.
How to apply
Call or go to the Crocker Office (5849 Crocker St., LA 90003), Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm, at (323) 432-4399. You can also use the Navigation Center at 729 W. Manchester Ave. (Mon-Fri 7:30am-5pm, Sat 10am-2pm, (323) 814-9100), or the Compton Office at 3010 E. Victoria St. ((424) 403-5800). Call ahead to confirm walk-in times.
What it is
HOPICS is the first stop for South LA, Compton, Lynwood and Paramount residents who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Single adults go to its Access Center and families go to its Family Solutions Center, both at the Crocker office. Its Manchester Navigation Center is also a Coordinated Entry access point.
