What it is
The Fair Housing Council takes landlord-tenant complaints, investigates them and tries to mediate a fix between landlord and tenant. It also fights housing discrimination and holds workshops on repairs, leases, Section 8, evictions and occupancy. Other services include foreclosure prevention, credit counseling and first-time homebuyer workshops.
