Women and survivors of violence facing unemployment or underemployment.

What it is
Job help for women and survivors of violence who are unemployed or underemployed, many of whom are homeless or recently housed. It includes paid transitional jobs (including at DWC's MADE café, resale boutique and production studio), career readiness workshops, a Learning Center and job placement support. The Learning Center also provides a mailing address, interview clothes, laundry and transportation help.

About the organisation
Downtown Women's Center works to end homelessness for women through housing, wellness, employment and advocacy. In 2025, 200 people took part in its job training and 88 got jobs.
