CRCD Youth Workforce Programs (South LA YouthBuild, VCN YouthSource)

Who qualifies
South LA youth ages 16-24. The summer jobs program is for ages 14-21. Transition-age youth, foster youth and youth who have faced housing instability or justice involvement are welcome.

What it is
Job training, paid work experience, high school diploma completion and tutoring for South LA youth. Programs include South LA YouthBuild/AmeriCorps, the Vernon-Central YouthSource Center (with LA Trade-Tech) and a Summer Youth Employment Program. Youth also get coaching, transportation help, mental health referrals and job placement.
