Who qualifies
Anyone who is ready, willing and able to begin a job search and has an active phone number or email address.
How to apply
Go to an orientation. At the South LA DOORS site, orientation is Monday-Thursday at 9am. Other LA sites hold it Monday-Thursday at 8am. The Inland Empire site (Colton) is by appointment. Questions: (213) 394-2390 or CS@ChangeLives.org.
What it is
Free help preparing for, finding and keeping a job, especially for people facing barriers like homelessness or a conviction record. Services include an Employment Specialist, job search classes, guidance on talking to employers about convictions, resume and interview practice, a computer lab and phones, work clothes and hygiene items, and paid transitional jobs.
