§ THE STORY
The Late Set, Culture's stand-up show on Knect TV, leaves the studio for one night. Four comics, one room, cameras rolling. We're taking over The Sable Room in Leimert Park: a velvet-and-brick supper club with candlelit tables and a stage close enough to hear the comic breathe. Doors open at 7. Get a drink, catch up with your people, find your seat. At 8 the lights drop and The Late Set tapes live. Whatever happens in the room is what airs. THE LINEUP Reggie Toussaint: raised in the second pew of a Compton Baptist church. Thirty years of deadpan stories about deacons, cookouts and grown children who still live at home. Nia Okafor: nine years in corporate HR, and now she turns performance reviews, group chats and dating apps into the sharpest twenty minutes in LA. Theo Marlowe: Inglewood's loudest barbershop philosopher. All energy, all crowd work, all the stories your cousin swears are true. Bernadette "Bunny" Price: taught seventh grade for thirty-one years, retired, and picked up a microphone. She will find you in the front row. COME DRESSED. THE CAMERAS ARE ROLLING. This is a taping, and the cameras catch the crowd too. Come looking like the night deserves it. TICKETS General Admission ($35): a seat in the main room. Premium Table ($65): reserved seats at the front tables, closest to the stage. Meet the Comics VIP ($125): early entry at 6:30, a premium front-table seat and a welcome cocktail. After the taping you get a meet-and-greet and photo with all four comics and a signed Late Set Live poster. 21+ with valid ID. Doors 7:00 PM, show 8:00 PM, out around 10:30 PM. Seats are first come, first served within your ticket type. By attending you agree you may appear on camera.
