§ THE PORTRAIT
Sol Arceneaux
§ THE SHORT VERSION
Sol Arceneaux is a muralist based in Compton, CA (a demo persona on Knect).
Sol Arceneaux has painted walls across Compton and South Los Angeles for fifteen years, usually with a crew of teenagers who learn to grid, prime and scale up a sketch on the job. Creole on her father's side and Compton-raised, she paints the city's own history back onto its walls: the riders, the growers, the families, the symbols the grandparents brought with them.
Hub City Harvest, Rosecrans Ave at Wilmington Ave, Compton, CA. Riders of Richland, W Caldwell St, Compton, CA. Ancestors Gate, S Central Ave, Los Angeles, CA. Every wall.
A note: this artist is a demo persona created for the Knect preview, and the work shown was generated with Higgsfield AI.
