Who qualifies
People experiencing homelessness: single men, single women, single parents with children, two-parent families and families with teens. Shelter intake requires proof of ID and a Megan's Law clearance.
How to apply
Go to the Emergency (Guest) Services day rooms at 545 S. San Pedro St. You can also call intake at (213) 347-6351 (Mon-Fri 8:30 am to 5 pm), call (213) 316-2711 after hours any day, or submit the URM Intake Application online.
What it is
Union Rescue Mission on Skid Row gives guests three meals a day, along with emergency shelter. It serves single adults and families. It also runs the Hope Gardens Family Center for single mothers with children.
