Who qualifies
Homeless or working-poor households in the South Bay/Harbor area (San Pedro, Wilmington, Harbor City, Lomita, Torrance, Harbor Gateway, Long Beach) with income within federal poverty guidelines.
How to apply
Walk in to the Family Resource Center, 670 W. 9th St., San Pedro, Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm. No appointment needed. You'll fill out an application and meet a case advocate. Bring ID, proof of income, proof of residency and proof of family size.
What it is
Walk-in food pantry in San Pedro that gives a three-day supply of groceries, plus clothing and hygiene items such as diapers. It also helps with CalFresh applications and holiday food baskets, and runs a grocery program for seniors 55 and older.
